Revert "We do need to send a SIGQUIT to a process/thread, even if it is running" This reverts commit ef5fffa591e583de26c6ce14f9448104d6dfbe79. The problem with the commit is that if we SIGQUIT a thread, it gets exited without updating runtime/etc info. And then we don't get a new status display on exit.
