Changes from Moshe: - distutils: Windows installers are already working - string methods: .join() seems to be the concensus, so it should probably be docommented - filecmp.py supersedes cmp, cmpcache and dircmp - winreg is completely new: _winreg is an adaptation of what used to be in win32api, and winreg is a Python implementation which adds OO syntax. Perhaps you know that, but the text is misleading.
