Upgrade rust/crates/rand_xorshift to 0.3.0 am: 56ff62a9c8 am: 368abbf977 am: f3bd976e98 Original change: https://android-review.googlesource.com/c/platform/external/rust/crates/rand_xorshift/+/1533726 MUST ONLY BE SUBMITTED BY AUTOMERGER Change-Id: Idfd0c394175c05d66ac6e34808ad2cd13d6f27ca
Implements the Xorshift random number generator.
The Xorshift[^1] algorithm is not suitable for cryptographic purposes but is very fast. If you do not know for sure that it fits your requirements, use a more secure one such as StdRng
or OsRng
.

rand_xorshift
is no_std
compatible. It does not require any functionality outside of the core
lib, thus there are no features to configure.
The serde1
feature includes implementations of Serialize
and Deserialize
for the included RNGs.
