Setting is_component_build to false by default Webrtc does not support component builds so we want to override the chromium default value (which can be true on debug builds if the os is different from iOS). Please note that the user can set this value to true in two ways: - using --args (e.g.: gn gen out/default --args='is_component_build=true' - changing the value in the args.gn file But in both cases the value will be ignored because we don't use the 'component' template but we rely directly on 'rtc_static_library' and 'rtc_shared_library'. WebRTC is a free, open software project that provides browsers and mobile applications with Real-Time Communications (RTC) capabilities via simple APIs. The WebRTC components have been optimized to best serve this purpose.
Our mission: To enable rich, high-quality RTC applications to be developed for the browser, mobile platforms, and IoT devices, and allow them all to communicate via a common set of protocols.
The WebRTC initiative is a project supported by Google, Mozilla and Opera, amongst others. This page is maintained by the Google Chrome team.
See http://www.webrtc.org/native-code/development for instructions on how to get started developing with the native code.
