	The WAV code goes back to an inofficial patch #8 that
	Jeff Chilton sent us (hence the jump from 7 to 9).
	src/toast.c: add _fsetmode() calls to set stdin/stdout to
		binary (from an OS/2 port by Arnd Gronenberg.)
